Fashion, aka, a term that we who love wearing track pants and t-shirts for life dread, is something the world has been bound to ever since homo sapiens learned that clothing themselves in whatever deemed wearable is appropriate.
Yes, I am a person who believes that in order to be socially acceptable, one needs to be well clad. When I say well clad, I mean that the clothes that are to be worn should be comfortable and a good 5-6 on the fashion sense scale. If you really try hard maybe 6.5- 7.
But let’s face it. To look fashionable takes efforts. Efforts that just can’t be put in us who just don’t have the time and on certain occasions, money. So in times of a fashion crisis, you turn to hacks. Hacks are quick and temporary solution to fix any sort of problems. So, below are some fashion related hacks you should try if you want fashion made easy
Is your darn zipper stuck?
Rub Vaseline, crayon wax, or the end of a graphite pencil along the teeth of a zipper to help it slide smoothly.
Want to rid your leather clothing/accessory off water stains?
Spray the stain with a mixture of cold water and vinegar, then rub gently.
Note: If the leather is finished, this hack will work. However, if it’s naked leather, you will have to get it cleaned by professionals.
Is your pair of shoes a little too small?
If your shoes are too tiny, try wearing a pair of thick socks with the shoes and then heating the tight spots with a blow dryer.
Want to prevent dark jeans from fading?
Add 1/2 cup of distilled vinegar to the last washing cycle.
Want to prevent your sneakers from getting stinky?
Cover the shoes with baking soda and let them sit overnight.
Are your glasses/sunglasses loose?
Use clear nail polish to tighten up the hinges.
