After the Bandra fire in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai faces the wrath of a fire breakout.
On Wednesday 1st November, a fir broke out in Airoli at Reliable Tech Park. Fire engines and ambulance rushed to the spot to tend the people and blow out fire. Fortunatley, no casualities were reported.
Centrally located in Navi Mumbai, Reliable Tech Park is a hub for IT parks in Airoli. It’s a development that doesn’t only have offices, but has various other amenities like food court, shops, gaming zone and a Grand Atrium. With a steady development of infrastructure, residential and commercial real estate, this tech park has become a popular destiantion fot IT companies and professionals. It is a prefered spot for both International and domestic companies, as it offers flexible, comfortable and well equipped office spaces at reasonable cost.
Just days ago, a fire broke out in the slums of Behrampada near Bandra station. The fire was raging was intensly that it was reported as Level IV of severity. The incident left 4 four injured. The fire broke out when municipal officials were organizing an anti-encroachment drive outside Bandra station.Though the cause has no yet been determined, it suspected that the fire broke out due to cylinder blasts during a demolition drive.
Apart from these two fire incidents, few other such incidents took place in the cousre of last month.
Two weeks ago: A massive fire had broke out at Mechemco Resins Pvt Ltd’s factory in Navi Mumbai’s Turbhe. No one was injured due to the incident.
Early October: A fire broke out on a tank farm on Butcher Island, a loading hub for petroleum products off the city’s east coast. The fire went on for four days, resulting in losses of at least Rs 60-70 crore. A 50-member team of firemen fought hard to extinguish blaze.
