Google Finally Launched "Tez" Mobile Wallet In India

After many leaks and rumors Google has finally launched it’s Mobile payment app for India called the Tez App. It will let you pay in physical and online stores by linking your bank account with the app. It works on UPI –  Unified Payment Interface which let’s you transfer money with your registered mobile number associated with your bank account. The app is now available on both iOS and Android.



Online payment partners include large food chains like Dominos, transport services like RedBus, and Jet Airways and more will be added soon. The app comes with support for multiple languages – English, Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati and Kannada.

For businesses there is a separate portal where you register to receive payments from Tezz. It will competing with popular apps like Paytm but Google can really dominate this market if they provide good offers like this one, you will get ₹51 cashback on your first transaction through tez app. Would you use it?
