10 Home Remedies You Can Find in Your Kitchen

Our kitchen is a store-house of natural remedies.  Instead of expensive medicines, sometimes these home remedies work better.

So, here are a few home remedies that can be found in our kitchen:

    1. Teabags help in removing puffiness and swelling.  They also help in aiding blood clots.
    2. Olive oil. Olive oil is an excellent moisturiser.  It helps to keep the skin supple.
    3. Ginger aides in digestion and also helps in alleviating menstrual cramps.

    1. Few pods of raw garlic daily helps in keeping blood pressure under control.  When mixed with mustard oil and heated, this garlic oil application gives relief from bad cold and cough.  It is an excellent way to provide relief to children suffering from cold and cough.
    2. Vinegar. It can be used to heal skin rashes and slight burns.  It should be diluted with water and used.  Vinegar is also an excellent source of cleaning.  Simply mix with water and keep it in fridge to remove odor.  Clean the kitchen platform and other dirty areas with this mixture.
    3. Honey has loads of qualities.  It is antifungal, antiviral, antiseptic, you name it! Honey can be used both internally and externally.  Honey mixed with warm and lemon should be consumed first thing in the morning.  It detoxifies the system and also aides in weight loss.  It can be applied to minor burns and cuts.
    4. Papaya is a fruit which is full of nutrition.  If one has upset stomach, papaya helps in digestion.  It also helps in relieving constipation.

  1. Lemon . This small citrus fruit is full of benefits.  It aides in digestion and gives relief from gas.  Lemon can also be used in cleaning.  The lemony fragrance can take away all the bad odor.
  2. Turmeric is known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.  It can be made as a paste and applied to wounds for immediate relief.  It also alleviates arthritis pain, controls cholesterol and stomach ulcers.
  3. Aloe Vera. The juice of aloe Vera helps aides in weight loss, helps strengthen the immune system.  Application of aloe Vera on skin keeps the skin healthy, it’s very soothing on the skin.
