NMMC appealed to all the residents make utmost use of their app, Swacchtha-MoHUA, before participating in the Clean India Mission competition, so that any kind of grievances can be addressed by the administration within 12 hours.
With the help of this ap, people can raise complaints under 9 categories. They are:
- Uncleared water
- Garbage vehicle not collecting garbage on time
- Unclean roads
- Uncleared carcasses
- Failure to collect waste from public bins
- Cleanliness of public toilets
- No electricity
- Non-availability of water in public toilets

“The civic administration wants residents to participate in this competition by keeping the administration informed about the areas that need attention. By logging their grievances through the government app, residents are assured of getting the issues addressed within 12 hours,” said an NMMc officer. He also added that there is a provision for the complainants to give their feedback. This is the best way to draw the administration’s attention to civic issues that need attention.
