Netflix will be launching features that’ll help parents gain more control over the access of Netflix content by kids. They’ll be able to block movies and tv shows they deem inappropriate for their kids.
The users currently can restrict content that can be watched with only a certain maturity level by using a numeric password.
According to Mike Hastings, Netflix’s director of enhanced content, the new features will be soon available globally in the coming months.
In most Netflix shows, nudity, extreme graphic scenes, and strong language are very common, hence the high possibility of kids being exposed unwanted content.
Netflix has more than 100 million users and spends over billion dollars in the making of their original shows and movies.
Netflix also added that it will show the maturity level of a show or a film more visibly once the users play it.
