World’s largest bike rally to be hosted by the Civic body

Along with world record biker Manigandan Manjunathan, the civic body are all ready to set a new Guinness World Record in the category of ‘Largest Parade of Honda Motorcycles’.

Last year on October 5th, the civic body hosted a large walkathon with 40,000 students as part of the Swachh initiative to propel its position from 8th rank in the national campaign.

The bike rally again will be hosted to raise awareness for swach Ni Mumbai. Over 2,000 riders will be riding a whooping distance of 30km from Patni ground in Airoli to the NMMc quarters on Republic Day. The bike rally will pass through Mulund-Airoli link road, T-Junction, Thane Belapur Road, and Palm beach road. They will be ending the rally by noon.

“I will kick off the rally and return to hoist the flag at civic headquarters to receive the riders in the later part of the day,” said civic chief, N Ramaswami.
