World Trade Centre in Navi Mumbai: What It Is and How to Reach It

Business and Registrations

Quick answer: there is a World Trade Centre brand in Navi Mumbai, but it is not an old landmark tower you can walk up to. WTC Navi Mumbai is listed by the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) as an operating trade-promotion centre, promoted by the developer Raheja Universal at its Raheja District township in Juinagar. The same developer is building an office project called Prime at World Trade Center there, which it lists as ongoing. It is separate from World Trade Centre Mumbai at Cuffe Parade in South Mumbai. WTCA and the developer publish no public visiting hours, so contact the centre before you go.

This guide is for exporters, students, small business owners and office hunters in Navi Mumbai who have seen the name and want to know what it covers. It is a business explainer, not a sightseeing stop. It also does not replace the registrations covered in the IEC and JNPA import-export guide and the Shop Act licence guide.

Three things share the name

Most confusion comes from the same three words describing different things. Here is how the sources separate them.

Name What it is Where Source
WTC Navi Mumbai (trade centre) A World Trade Centers Association location, listed as operating. WTCA lists trade services such as seminars, workshops and trade information. The listing names Raheja Universal as promoter. Raheja District, Juinagar, Navi Mumbai WTCA
Prime at World Trade Center, Navi Mumbai A commercial office project of Raheja Universal. The developer’s project page shows it as ongoing and uses artistic impressions. Raheja District, which the developer calls Vashi NX Raheja Universal
World Trade Centre Mumbai A separate centre run by its own organisation. Its website gives the address as Center 1 Building, 31st Floor, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai 400005. Cuffe Parade, South Mumbai, not Navi Mumbai WTC Mumbai

Other business parks and tech parks in Navi Mumbai are different buildings with different owners. The IT companies and tech parks guide covers them.

What WTC Navi Mumbai is, according to WTCA

The WTCA is the New York based association of World Trade Centres. Its page for Navi Mumbai calls the centre a regular member and marks it as operating, with 2014 shown as the year of inception. The same page lists Raheja Universal’s Raheja District Sales Office in Juinagar as the contact address and says Raheja Universal Group promoted the centre. It also says trade services have been started and that facilities are planned.

Services the WTCA page lists:

  • International trade events, seminars, workshops and education services.
  • Trade information and research services.
  • Business services in the form of referrals to other service providers.
  • Inbound group trade missions.
  • Conference organising services.

A WTCA news item dated 21 January 2016 says the centre became operational for trade education and trade information, and that its first international business guidance seminar was held on 14 January 2016 at its office in Raheja District-1, Juinagar.

WTCA’s news pages for the centre list these 2026 events, several of them held at the WTC Navi Mumbai office:

  • A seminar on financing strategies for MSMEs and start-ups on 12 February 2026, with the Bombay Industries Association (BIA).
  • An EU-India business dialogue on 8 April 2026 and a session on the IPO ecosystem in India on 20 May 2026, both with BIA.
  • An Indonesia trade promotion programme on 10 August 2026, which included the Consul General of Indonesia in Mumbai.
  • Two memoranda of understanding, announced in a March 2026 item, with India ITME Society and with German-India Trade Advisory (GITA).

These are events and tie-ups of a trade body. They are not government services. A WTC does not issue an IEC, a Shop Act licence or customs clearance. For those, follow the official routes in the guides linked above.

The building: what is built and what is not

This is the part readers usually want to know, and the official pages leave some of it unstated, so read it carefully.

  • Pre-launch, August 2025. A Raheja Universal press release dated 29 August 2025, carried by The Week through PTI, describes the pre-launch of WTC Navi Mumbai at Raheja District and the inauguration of its show office by Scott Wang, WTCA Vice President for Asia Pacific. The page notes the release is company material that was not edited by the news agency.
  • Launch event, 22 November 2025. Raheja Universal’s own blog says the launch took place on that date, with WTCA delegates present. It describes the unveiling of the Prime at WTC lobby as the first built milestone of WTC Navi Mumbai, and says the commercial precinct is ahead.
  • Project page. The developer’s page for Prime at World Trade Center lists the status as ongoing and shows artistic impressions. The features it names include a triple-height arrival lobby with cafes, a sky lounge, an open-air pavilion, a fitness suite and meeting suites. These are developer descriptions of the project, not a statement that each one is open.

WTCA’s and Raheja Universal’s pages do not give a completion date, a floor count, floor area, a tenant list or a RERA registration number for Prime at World Trade Center. The WTCA page and the 2025 press release also describe the size of the Raheja District township and the number of towers differently, so this guide leaves those figures out. For the committed completion date of any office space, check the project’s registration on MahaRERA and ask the developer for it in writing.

How to reach it

Treat this as a starting point and confirm the route with the centre, because neither WTCA nor the developer publishes a visitor access guide.

  • Address as listed by WTCA: Raheja Universal Pvt. Ltd., Raheja District Sales Office, Plot No. Gen-2/1/B, D Block, off Sion Panvel Highway, Juinagar, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra 400705. WTCA lists the phone number +91 98203 42535 and the website wtcnavimumbai.org.
  • The developer’s name for the location: Vashi NX. Raheja Universal’s pages use that name, and its project page lists the Atal Setu, the Kharghar-Turbhe Link Road, Navi Mumbai International Airport and Navi Mumbai Metro Phase 1 as connectivity advantages. That is marketing language about the wider area, not a route or a travel time.
  • By train: Juinagar is a Harbour Line station on the Vashi to Panvel stretch. The Navi Mumbai local train guide lists the stations in order. WTCA and the developer do not give a walking distance from the station to the township, so ask the sales office for the best approach.
  • By road: the address is off the Sion Panvel Highway. If your route uses the Atal Setu sea link, see the Atal Setu toll guide, and for the other plazas see the Navi Mumbai toll plaza guide. Parking arrangements for visitors are not published.
  • Metro and airport: the Navi Mumbai Metro route map and the Navi Mumbai airport guide explain what runs where. Check that guidance rather than assuming a direct link.

Can the public walk in?

The listed address is a sales office, and the events are held at the centre’s office. Neither WTCA nor the developer publishes visiting hours, an appointment process or rules for visitors. If you want to attend an event, meet the trade team or look at office space, phone or write first and ask for an appointment. If you only wanted to look at a landmark tower, note that the developer’s own pages show artistic impressions of the project, and its completion is not stated.

Who may find it useful

  • First-time exporters and importers who want seminars or trade information. Use these as learning and networking, and file your own registrations with the official bodies.
  • Small manufacturers and MSMEs looking for contacts in other countries through trade missions or tie-ups. The services listed on the WTCA page do not promise leads or business.
  • Students and researchers in international business. WTCA’s news pages mention sessions with business schools.
  • Companies shopping for office space in Raheja District. Compare the project with other options and ask for the registration details first. The guide to starting a business in Navi Mumbai covers entity type, GST and local registrations.

WTCA’s page shows 22 business members and says no tenants have been added for the centre, as on 8 October 2026. Membership terms and fees are not published by WTCA or the developer, so ask the centre what it offers and what it costs before you pay anything.

What to check before you rely on this

  • Status of the tower. Ask Raheja Universal what part of Prime at World Trade Center is complete, and ask for the RERA registration and committed possession date.
  • Membership and fees. Get the benefits, charges and term in writing from WTC Navi Mumbai.
  • Event details. Confirm the venue, date and fee with the organiser for each event. Some are run with partners such as the Bombay Industries Association.
  • Address and phone. Contact details come from WTCA’s listing. Confirm them with the developer’s sales team before you travel.
  • Name mix-ups. If a letter, invoice or advertisement says World Trade Centre, check whether it means Cuffe Parade or Navi Mumbai.
