Compare seven B.Sc. Nursing colleges in Navi Mumbai and the Panvel area listed in Maharashtra’s CAP seat matrix. This guide explains their listed intake, eligibility requirements, admission steps and how to verify fees.
Scope: this covers Basic B.Sc. Nursing through the CAP. GNM, ANM, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and institutions that use separate admission processes, including deemed or private universities, are outside this comparison and have their own timetables. Details were read on 19 October 2026 from the MH B.Sc. Nursing CET 2026 portal: the information brochure, the Round 2 provisional seat matrix dated 22 September 2026 and Notice No. 04 dated 17 October 2026. The 2026-27 process was still open when this was written, and dates change, so check the portal for the latest notice before you act.
This guide compares selected B.Sc. Nursing colleges using Maharashtra CET Cell records. Campus facilities, clinical placements, hostels and college specific fees are included only where an identifiable official source supports them, so it does not carry individual college profiles.

The intake is the capacity printed for each college in the CET Cell’s Round 2 provisional seat matrix, published on the 2026 portal and dated 22 September 2026. The matrix’s printed header reads 2025-2026, so identify it by its date and round. The CET Cell notes that seat positions can change with information from the institute, MUHS Nashik or the courts, and that seats are allotted after affiliation is received. Intake is not the number of seats open now, because the matrix is a snapshot for one round. Other nursing institutions are not covered.
Who can apply
This section summarises the CET Cell brochure. Read the brochure for the full rules.
- Nationality and domicile. Candidates must be Indian nationals and, as a general rule, domiciled in Maharashtra. The brochure lists exceptions, including children of Maharashtra Government employees posted or transferred in or out of the state, defence personnel’s children and other categories in its annexures, so a candidate who studied outside Maharashtra is not automatically excluded.
- Outside Maharashtra, NRI and OCI candidates. The brochure says institutional quota seats can be filled by eligible outside-Maharashtra, NRI and OCI candidates who took the MH-Nursing CET 2026, and that NRI candidates are eligible only for institutional quota seats in private colleges, up to 15 percent. Check the brochure for the OCI conditions.
- Age. The candidate must be born on or before 31 December 2009, which means being at least 17 by 31 December 2026. The brochure says there is no upper age limit for B.Sc. Nursing.
- Qualification and marks. The brochure asks for the Higher Secondary Certificate or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, passing PCB and English individually, with at least 45 percent in PCB taken together, or 40 percent for SC, ST and other backward classes. These are marks in the board examination.
- Entrance test. Every candidate must have taken the MH-Nursing CET 2026. Percentiles in this test are separate from board marks. The brochure originally set minimum percentiles of 50 for Open and EWS, 40 for SEBC and other reserved categories, and 45 for General PwD candidates.
- Revised percentile. Notice No. 04 says the Indian Nursing Council relaxed the qualifying percentile on 16 October 2026 to the 40th for General, the 35th for General PwD and the 30th for SC, ST, OBC and PwD candidates for 2026-27.
- Medical fitness. Candidates must submit a medical fitness certificate in the brochure’s format at registration. The brochure says colour blind candidates are eligible if they wear colour corrective contact lenses and spectacles.
Meeting a qualifying mark or percentile does not guarantee a seat, because allotment depends on merit, category, the seats available and your choices. Keep your category and candidature documents ready. See our EWS certificate guide, non-creamy layer certificate guide and caste validity certificate guide.

How admission works
- Register and upload. Register on the CAP portal, pay the registration fee and upload and submit your documents.
- Merit list. The CET Cell publishes the provisional and final state merit lists, so check yours.
- Choice form. You fill college codes in order of preference. The brochure says to check each private college’s fee structure before you fill preferences.
- Rounds. Seats are allotted in CAP rounds and a provisional selection list is published for each. The portal lists the Round 1 and Round 2 selection lists.
- Joining. You must join the allotted college with original documents and fees by the date in the list, or the selection is cancelled and you may not be eligible for later rounds.
- Institute level round. Vacant seats are filled in a separate round run by the colleges, as set out above.
The selection lists name individual candidates, so this guide links to them and does not reproduce them. Read them on the portal for the colleges you want, and treat the last score you see for a college as one round’s result and not a standing cut-off. Next cycle dates will appear on the CET Cell’s main website.
Fees
The brochure says private and minority nursing college fees are prescribed by the Fee Regulating Authority and are available on mahafra.org, and that institutional quota and NRI seat fees in private unaided colleges will be on each college’s website. Check each college for its approved fee for 2026-27 and do not treat a fee a college calls proposed as an approved fee. All seven colleges here are listed as private, so the government college tuition in the brochure does not apply to them.
- Ask for the approved tuition and development fee for your seat type and the academic year.
- Ask separately about hostel, mess, transport, examination charges and refundable deposits.
- Do not multiply one year’s fee by four and treat it as a confirmed total for the course.
College details to confirm
The CET Cell list gives each college’s name and locality but not its website, admission contact, training hospital or hostel, and this guide does not take those from third party listing sites. Confirm them with the college and through the MUHS Nashik and Indian Nursing Council records before you apply. Two points from official sources:
- SARA Institute of Nursing Education. A CET Cell notice of 25 October 2024 gives its address as Panchvati Building, Poyanje, Gat No. 425, Panvel, Raigad 410221, when it was added for 2024-25 with an intake of 60.
- MGM College of Nursing. The CET Cell lists code 9126 under Vashi. MGM New Bombay College of Nursing in Kamothe has its own website, so ask the college which campus and affiliation your seat belongs to.
- Terna College of Nursing. The college has its own Basic B.Sc. Nursing page. Use it, and the college office, for the current address, admission contact and training arrangements.
- ITM Institute of Health Science, College of Nursing. The college’s own B.Sc. Nursing page describes a four year programme, says admission is open for 2026-27 and links a fee approval letter for 2026-27. It does not state the intake or a street address, so rely on the CET Cell matrix for the intake of 40 and ask the college for its address. The page gives the minimum PCB mark as 45 percent in one place and 40 percent in another, so follow the CET Cell brochure for eligibility.
- Fee notices. Ask each college for its fee notice and the academic year it covers, and whether the figure is approved or proposed.
Clinical training, hostels and commute
The CET Cell list gives each college’s name and locality, not its training hospital, hostel or station distance, so ask each college. Check each campus on a live map and plan the last stretch from the station. Terna College of Nursing is in Nerul, so see the Nerul railway station guide. MGM College of Nursing is in Vashi, so see the Vashi railway station guide. Dr. G.D. Pol Foundation is in Kharghar, so see the Kharghar railway station guide. ITM, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, SARA and Dr. Jayshree Patil are in the Panvel area, so see the Panvel railway station guide.
Questions to ask a college
- Is the college approved by the Indian Nursing Council and affiliated to MUHS for this year, and for how many seats?
- What is the approved fee for my seat type, and what other charges apply?
- Which hospital will I train in, and is it owned by the college or a tie-up? A hospital listed in a city guide does not mean it trains that college’s students.
- What are the hostel arrangements and the cost?
- What is the clinical training schedule, and how is it supervised?
- How does the college share placement details, such as the batch, the number of students who sat and the number placed?
For hospitals in the city, see our hospitals guide, which does not establish any training arrangement with a college.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which B.Sc. Nursing colleges are in Navi Mumbai?
This guide covers seven private colleges in the CET Cell’s 2026-27 list in Navi Mumbai and the Panvel area, including Terna College of Nursing and MGM College of Nursing, Vashi. It is a selection and not a verified total, because other institutions admit through separate processes.
What qualification and age are needed for B.Sc. Nursing in Maharashtra?
The brochure asks for HSC or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, with at least 45 percent in PCB, or 40 percent for SC, ST and other backward classes. Candidates must be born on or before 31 December 2009, and there is no upper age limit.
Does meeting the qualifying percentile guarantee admission?
No. The qualifying percentile only makes you eligible. A seat depends on your merit, category, the seats available in each round and the choices you fill.
Has the qualifying percentile changed for 2026-27?
Yes. Notice No. 04 of 17 October 2026 says the Indian Nursing Council relaxed it to the 40th for General, the 35th for General PwD and the 30th for SC, ST, OBC and PwD candidates. Check the portal for later notices.
Is B.Sc. Nursing admission still open?
The portal was running CAP Round 3 steps in October 2026, with choice filling to 11.59 pm on 22 October, followed by an institute level round from 28 to 31 October, according to Notice No. 04. Dates change, so check the portal before you act.
Can a student who studied outside Maharashtra apply?
The brochure sets domicile and schooling rules with exceptions, for example for children of Maharashtra Government employees, and allows eligible outside-Maharashtra, NRI and OCI candidates for institutional quota seats. Read the brochure for the conditions that apply to you.
Where can I find nursing college fees?
The brochure says private college fees are on the Fee Regulating Authority’s site, mahafra.org, and that institutional quota fees will be on each college’s website. Check that a figure is an approved fee and not a proposal.
Sources and method
The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell’s MH B.Sc. Nursing CET 2026 portal: the information brochure, the Round 2 provisional seat matrix, the Round 2 selection list and Notice No. 04. This is desk research from published sources. It lists only colleges whose names state a Navi Mumbai or Panvel area location in the CET Cell’s list, so other colleges may exist that it does not cover, and it does not rank or review any college.
