CBD Belapur is an area of Navi Mumbai on the Harbour line, between Seawoods Darave Karave and Kharghar stations. Who runs CBD Belapur
NMMC’s history page (in Marathi) says CIDCO developed the CBD Belapur, Nerul, Vashi, Sanpada, Koparkhairane, Ghansoli and Airoli nodes, that NMMC was set up on 1 January 1992 and that the nodes were handed over to it in stages from 1 January 1998. CIDCO’s budget statement says it has handed the Belapur to Airoli area to NMMC.
NMMC’s ward-office page lists eight offices: A Belapur, B Nerul, C Vashi, D Turbhe, E Koparkhairane, F Ghansoli, G Airoli and H Digha. A ward name is an office label. It does not tell you which ward your own building falls in, so ask NMMC if you live near Nerul, Seawoods or the boundary with Kharghar, where Panvel Municipal Corporation lists Kharghar as its A ward. How to get to CBD Belapur
By train
The Harbour line timetable says Belapur CBD, and Central Railway’s station list says Belapur (code BEPR). That list also carries a different Belapur under the Pune division, and India Post lists one in Ahmednagar district, so write CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai on tickets and parcels.
Harbour line. The CSMT to Goregaon to Panvel timetable, shown on Central Railway’s Mumbai Suburban timetable page as effective 1 May 2026, lists the stations in this order: Sanpada, Juinagar, Nerul, Seawoods Darave Karave, Belapur CBD, Kharghar, Mansarovar, Khandeshwar, Panvel. Check the stops of your own train before you board.
Trans-Harbour. The Trans-Harbour timetable on the same page is shown as effective 13 January 2024. Its Thane to Panvel trains (codes starting TPL) show a time at Belapur. Trains coded TV go to Vashi and trains coded TNU end at Nerul, and neither shows Belapur. Check that page for a newer edition.
Port Line to Uran. Central Railway’s Port Line timetable, shown as effective 15 December 2025, is headed Nerul/Belapur to Uran. Nerul and Belapur are two alternative starting points, not two stops on one run. In that file the trains coded UBR show a Belapur time and no Nerul or Seawoods time. The trains coded UNU show Nerul and Seawoods Darave Karave and no Belapur time. By Metro
Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1 runs from CBD Belapur to Pendhar. CIDCO’s budget statement describes it as 11.10 km, elevated, with 11 stations and a depot, and says it has been operational for the public since 17 November 2023. Deccan Herald’s report of 17 November 2023 names the first station Belapur Terminal. CIDCO’s Belapur plan marks a Metro station beside the railway station complex. Follow the signs for the walk between the two, and check timings and fares with the operator before you travel.
CIDCO’s budget statement describes extensions from CBD Belapur in more than one way, and none runs today. Confirm the current position with CIDCO before you rely on any of them. The Navi Mumbai Metro route map guide keeps operating lines and proposals apart.
By road, bus and to the airport
CIDCO’s plan labels the Sion-Panvel Highway through the node, and Palm Beach Marg and Amra Marg on its western side, with an arrow on Amra Marg towards the airport. CIDCO Bhavan and the business district

CIDCO’s commercial facilities page (in Marathi) calls Belapur the commercial centre and names the International Technology Centre in CBD Belapur as an information technology centre built in a commercial complex with the railway station. CIDCO’s plan sheet for CBD Belapur marks many labels. This table lists some, with how to read each. They are indicative planning labels, not attractions and not a list of what operates today.

The plan’s own notes say it must not be used as a legal document, that plot, sector and nodal boundaries are subject to change, and that the CRZ line shown is indicative and must be certified by the competent authority when development permission is sought. Use it to understand the layout, and confirm a plot or boundary with CIDCO or NMMC.
Seawoods, Nerul and the Kharghar edge
CIDCO’s index does not list Seawoods as a node. Seawoods Darave Karave is a station name, the stop before Belapur CBD, and CIDCO draws its station complex on the Nerul node plan. The Belapur plan labels its western edge as the adjoining Nerul node and its eastern edge as the adjoining Kharghar node, so an address near either boundary may sit under a different civic body.
The PIN code for your address
The Department of Posts directory on data.gov.in, an undated extract, lists Belapur Node III S.O, Belapur Node V S.O and Konkan Bhavan S.O under 400614, and Darave B.O under 400706. The PIN on an address follows its delivery post office. NMMC’s A ward office address ends 400614, but that is one office, not a rule for every building. Creek, hill and open land
Do not enter mangroves, fenced land or protected areas without permission. Use established public routes and follow posted restrictions. For Belapur Fort and Parsik Hill, the places to visit in Nerul, Seawoods and Belapur puts access first. Before buying or building near the creek or the hill, ask CIDCO or NMMC whether coastal or slope rules apply to the plot.
